India is a young giant, a super power in the waiting. In its journey ahead, it needs a huge pool of dedicated, skilled and proficient manpower. We at KC are in the process of creating such young leaders who will be active partners in India’s progress W.B Yeats had said, “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” We at K.C College are involved completely in igniting minds, setting light to new ideas and kindling character.

This college thrives on innovating, reinventing and being a cut above the rest. We are a temple of knowledge, in the true sense, having every course of study of the University of Mumbai, under our roof. From FYJC to M.A, M.Sc & Ph.D, from B.Com in Accounting & Finance(B.A.F) to Bachelor in Management Studies(B.M.S), Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) and from B.Sc (IT) to M.Sc(IT) – K.C has it all. We believe in providing the best of infrastructure since we know that the best of surroundings is conducive to gaining knowledge. Our college boasts of a state of the art, fully air-conditioned auditorium, a well stocked, air-conditioned library, several multimedia rooms, modern laboratories and a large, airy canteen among other facilities.

Ours is a completely student centric college and we aim to make each student techno savvy so as to enable him/her to stand out in this increasingly technological world. We use contemporary means of education like the screening of films and documentaries, interactive discussions, debates and quizzes to make learning pleasurable and easy to understand.

K.C is today a brand name that adds to its ideational dimension by having innovative co-curricular activities like the Science Honors Programme, the Core Programme for Commerce & Arts, the Vidyasagar Late Prof K.M Kundnani Lecture Series, the Human Rights Debate etc.

Our approach is aimed at developing our students’ individuality but also having them appreciate the importance of team spirit. Thus we have a number of college festivals like Kiran, Blitzkrieg, Bio Genei, Parnassus, Bio Ethnica, Tech Renegade etc so that they learn to conceptualize, execute and participate.

I firmly believe that with the above steps we are actively contributing to India’s relentless journey ahead. At the same time we remember the welfare of the weaker section of the society. The NSS Unit of K C College does exemplary work for the marginalized by adopting the village Saphale and carrying out laudable pragrammes for the folks there.

We also do not allow success to go to our head for we ensure that however high we soar our feet remains firmly on the terra firma.
