Junior College : Rules of Admission —

1. Students seeking admission to the  Junior College are required to apply in prescribed form i.e. White for Arts, Green for Science and Blue for Commerce. This will be submitted on dates specified for acceptance of form.

2. Applications for admission to F.Y.J.C. must be complete in all respects and accompanied  by a copy of —

       (a)  The Mark Sheet,

       (b)  School Leaving Certificate,

       (c)  Character Certificate and

       (d)  Eligibility Certificate (if required)

3. After a student is selected for interview, he will have to submit at the interview;

       (a)  Original Mark sheet along with 2 copies of he same.

       (b)  Original Eligibility Certificate (if required)

       (c)  Original School Leaving Certificate from the School or College last attended by the student
              along with 2 copies, of the same.

4. Application for the admission to S.Y.J.C. must be accompanied by  -

       (a)  Identity card  of  F.Y.J.C. and

       (b)  Progress Report showing promotion to S.Y.J.C. Class

       (c)  Xth Mark Sheet with 2 copies of the same.

5. The students must affix recent photo on the admission form and have 3 more copies  of photo  with him for identity card  and other purposes.

Junior College : Guidelines for Admission of Students in K. C. College

The criteria  of admission  to K. C. College  will be governed  by the  judgement , determined  by the Mumbai High Court in the  cases moved  by  our  board  before it, as minority  Educational Institute, as per  the judgement  of the Hon'ble supreme  court  of India  and particularly  the judgement  in  case  of St. Stephen's College  v/s University  of Delhi reported in AIR 1992, Supreme Court and the various judgement of the Mumbai High Court.

1. Therefore, while deciding  the merit, college will consider —
(a)  Performances at last examination and also previous record.
(b)  Performances in extra-curricular activities like cultural activities, sports at state and National
       level, N.C.C., N.S.S.
(c)   Personal interview,  this would help us to know aptitude of student, their
       organizational capacity and leadership qualities.

2. 50%  of total  Number  of seats  will be reserved  for  Sindhi  Students.

3. 3%  of total  seats  will be reserved  for  the following  categories of student —
(a)  wards of  officer/executives  on transfer , State and Central both  private and Govt. Socities.
(b)  Children  of defence personnel  currently  in  service  or retired.
(c)  Children of window/abandoned women.
(d)  Physically handicapped  student /other medical problems.
(e)  Children of  freedom fighters.

4. 2% of total  seats  will be reserved for sports/cultural. After admitting student according  to B&C criteria  as stated above, rest of seats will be given first to the students from the school  under  the collegiate Board.

5. After giving  admission  to student  from  the school under  the  collegiate Board if  seats are left , the same will be given  to outside student on merits.

6. While admitting the outside  student preference would be given to —

Student  coming from Higher Secondary Schools which have  no junior college  attached to it.
(b)  Very high  merit  holder  student with  no financial support.
(c)  Children  of N.R.I.'s
(d)  Student staying  in  the vicinity  of  the college.

7. Cutoff points for admission of Sindhis and Non-Sindhis along with list of student called for
interview will be put up on the notice board.

8. Schedule of dates for interview and acceptance of fees will be put up on the Notice Board

       (a)  Since admission to college is decided on various criteria student are advised to                
             submit along with their form xerox copy of marksheet, copies of testimonials and
             certificates and any other  information  as per  the above guideline. The  application  forms
             are likely  to be rejected  in case the Xerox copies are not attached there to.

7. Personality Profoma will be issued to student along with the admission form top enable
student to write details of their academic excellence, their participation in extra curricular activities and also to provide details of in formation.

8. The Principal is empowered as per section 65, of Mumbai Universities Act, July 1994  to
refuse the admission of student even if he merit otherwise, if the principal doubts his
character, or due to various reasons.

9. Every care has been taken to ensure transparency and objectivity in admission process. College is
striving hard to impart 5th best quality of education and produce citizen of National Character,
Discipline and Integrity with the highest proficiency in their profession.

The  college  following  the guideline  of H.S.N.C. Board   reserves  the  right  to manage and administer working  of K. C. College in “accordance with the Article 30 (1) of the constitution of India” with sole object of archiving academic excellence.

Senior College : Rules of Admission —

1. A student seeking admission to any class is required to apply on the prescribed form which is available with the college office along with a copy of Prospectus on payment of Rs.50/-

2. Once the admission is granted full fees will have to be paid on the same day.  The admission will not be valid on the subsequent days.

3. Students not intending to continue with the college in the Second term of an academic year must inform the Principal in writing to this effect before 20th October of that year.

Admission Rules for Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) —

» Eligibility

A candidate for being  eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) Degree Course shall have passed XII std. Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent and secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate at first attempt (45% in case of reserved category)

A candidate for being  eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce (Banking  & Insurance) Degree Course shall have passed XII std. Admission Rules for Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

» Mathematics compulsory at XII

» Minimum 45% aggregate for Open and 40% aggregate  for reserved category at XII

» Diploma in computer engineering/computer science/computer technology/electrical, electronics and allied with 45% aggregate for open and 40% for reserved

Senior College : Guidelines for Admission of Students in K. C. College

The criteria of admissions to K.C.
